Rest In Peace Bill Withers
I was a kid in Chicago when Bill Withers' "Lovely Day" was released. I guess I consider my "Chicago years" (the first time) my "wonder years" -- before I hit my teens. This song always picked me up through the years. 🙏🏽Bill Withers, legendary R&B singer behind such classics as ‘Lean On Me,’ ‘Lovely Day,’ and ‘Ain’t No Sunshine,’ passed away on Friday from heart complications at the age of 81. pic.twitter.com/IOaV5GRb5u— NowThis (@nowthisnews) April 3, 2020
